Former Aggie Teddy Allen will get a shot in front of NBA scouts at the Summer League with the Denver Nuggets
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- Former New Mexico State standout Teddy Allen will try to impress scouts as he plays at the NBA Summer League with the Denver Nuggets.
Teddy Allen, affectionately known as Teddy Buckets won the 2022 WAC Player of the Year award after leading the Aggies to their first round upset of UConn at the NCAA tournament, with 37 points on the night.
During his one and only season with the Aggies (2021-22), Allen averaged 19.6 points, 2.5 assists and 6.7 rebounds he also shot at nearly 34 percent from the three-point line.
To take his career to the next step, Allen now has to perform amongst some of the best and impress NBA scouts at the Summer League which runs from July 7-17 in Las Vegas.
