Sunny Weekend Ahead, Rain on the Horizon Next Week

Good morning and happy Saturday! I'm forecasting a beautiful day with light winds and a high of 63.

An upper ridge over the western U.S. will dominate our weather through Tuesday, bringing higher clouds and temperatures well above normal.

Expect scattered cirrus clouds today, but the ridge will persist, keeping skies mostly clear.

However, keep an eye on the horizon as a Pacific storm system approaches midweek, increasing moisture and bringing a slight chance of rain by Wednesday evening.

The main event unfolds Thursday into Saturday, offering better rain chances as the upper low from the storm moves to western Arizona.

Snow levels will remain high, impacting only the highest mountain peaks.

Enjoy the sunny weekend, and stay tuned for updates as we track the evolving weather pattern next week.
