ABC-7 StormTrack Weather: Warm and dry week ahead for the Borderland

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Warm, dry conditions will continue across the Borderland this week, accompanied by light daily breezes.

An upper-level high pressure system over Mexico is expected to shift westward, keeping the region mostly dry.

A backdoor cool front will move in on Friday, bringing a slight drop in temperatures, but highs will still remain 5 to 10 degrees above the mid-70s average for this time of year.

The cooler air won’t bring a significant change, and the week ahead is expected to stay warm and pleasant.
