Water main break floods busy east El Paso intersection
EL PASO, Texas -- A water main break Friday morning flooded a busy east El Paso intersection.
It happened about 10:45 a.m. at Gateway West and Viscount.
Authorities at the scene said a construction crew doing work just a few feet away apparently caused the break.
The water leak has since been shut off.
In addition to flooding the area, it appeared a portion of the sidewalk also collapsed.
