You Eat I Eat: Nourishing Lives and Spreading Cheer in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- This week's Sunday Funday moment, sponsored by Sarah Farms, shines a spotlight on the remarkable non-profit organization, You Eat I Eat, nestled in the heart of Northwest El Paso.

Founder and CEO, Dorene Marcus Corothers, has been a beacon of hope for the El Paso community for eight years.

With a heart dedicated to service, Dorene shares that over 60,000 people have found support through their doors, receiving over 25,000 non-perishable groceries and 40,000 thoughtfully prepared meals – a majority crafted by Mrs. Dorene herself.

You Eat I Eat extends a helping hand twice a week, offering not just meals but also essential groceries to families in need.

Dorene emphasizes that this impactful work is made possible through the unwavering support of the community.

Their services include non-perishable food distribution, hot meals served bi-weekly for the first 75 attendees, an after-school program providing meals for kids twice a month, a back-to-school initiative supplying backpacks and food supplies, an Easter giveaway featuring delicious meals, a Thanksgiving event serving meals and gifting turkeys, and now, their upcoming annual Christmas celebration.

For those eager to contribute to this noble cause, visit the You Eat I Eat website and join the efforts to make a positive difference in the El Paso community.
