UTEP women’s basketball add WJCAC Defensive Player of the Year Delma Zita
EL PASO, Texas - UTEP women’s basketball has signed New Mexico Junior College transfer Delma Zita, head coach Keitha Adams announced Friday. Zita was named the 2022-23 WJCAC Defensive Player of the Year and will represent Mozambique this summer at the AfroBasket Championships in Rwanda.
Zita will have two years of eligibility left with the Miners.
