Pedestrian struck and killed on I-10 at Trowbridge on-ramp

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso police were investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed early Thursday morning on the Interstate 10 East at Trowbridge on-ramp.

The department's Special Traffic Investigations Unit was called out just after midnight.

Police said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene in central El Paso.

Police have not provided any additional details.
