County Judge Ricardo Samaniego discusses plans for all-abilities playgrounds
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) - County Judge Ricardo Samaniego appeared on ABC-7 at Four to discuss the plans for three all-abilities playgrounds at Ascarate Park, Gallegos Park in Socorro and Risinger Park in Fabens. (You can watch the interview in the video player above.)
The county is working with the group Moms on Board to secure the $1 million necessary to build the playgrounds. Moms on Board is raising $750,000 while the county is contributing $250,000 from a grant from Texas Parks & Wildlife.
