Four people rescued from capsized boat in Long Island Sound

    BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) — Officials said four people were rescued from a capsized boat in the Long Island Sound in Bridgeport Sunday morning.

Crews first responded to the boat around 10:45 a.m.

Bridgeport Police and the Bridgeport Fire Department assisted the Coast Guard in rescuing three people from the vessel.

Officials say a fourth person was found with the help Fairfield Police.

The fourth person is in cardiac arrest, said police.

All four victims were transported to Bridgeport Hospital.
