Weather

Lots of tropical moisture will hang around through the weekend so expect some heavy rain in spots where flooding could become an issue. There had been some areas today that picked up over 1″ of rain. The clouds and rain will keep temperatures below average in the upper 70s to mid 80’s.

Rain will continue to track NW tonight and again Wednesday. It looks as though the heaviest rain will come after midnight Tuesday and through mid-morning Wednesday. The potential is for some heavy rain in pockets around town. Overcast skies and rain in the area will keep temperatures in the upper 70’s and low 80s. Rain

Good morning everyone! I hope you are waking up nicely. If you are wondering how to prepare for today, you’ve come to the right place. First off, I’ll start with forecast highs. Today we are looking at highs in the upper 80s…ooooooh yay! Tomorrow, we are looking at highs in the mid 80s…even better! However,

Tropical moisture will be on the increase from the SE so clouds and rain chances will be increasing through most of this week. The heavier rains look to occur Wednesday. I expect a good amount of moisture to hang around most of this week which could cause some isolated flooding concerns on previously saturated ground.

There is the potential for some moderate to heavy rain developing from a tropical disturbance coming in from south Texas. The storm will make its way to the NW over the next couple of days and hit the El Paso area late Tuesday night and Wednesday AM. There is the potential for some heavy rain

Howdy everyone and happy Sunday! Today has been a hot day, with temps in the mid to upper 90s across the area. We’ve seen plenty of cumulus clouds out and about today, but those will start to change into cumulonimbus clouds starting on Tuesday. But first…what about Monday! Tomorrow will be hot as well…very similar

EL PASO, Texas- As summer begins to dwindle the temperatures are dropping slightly and the rain chances are rising. On Monday the Borderland will be seeing a 20% chance of rain that will jump up to 40% for the rest of the week. Temperatures will be in the high 90s until Tuesday when they drop

Happy Saturday! It was a cool, cloudy morning, and then the sun broke through the clouds, leading to a warm afternoon and evening. We can thank the clouds for keeping our temperatures in the low 90s today! We will stay dry tonight and tomorrow, as the best chances for rain are out to the west

EL PASO, Texas- The weekend is shapening up to be a nice one. The temperatures should be in the high 90’s with around a 10% to 20% chance of rain in the evenings. Winds will be at around 10 to 15 miles per hour out of the southeast. Rain chances increase as the week goes

Temps will heat up for the weekend with highs in the mid and upper 90’s. The chance for storms will be about 10-20% across the area – primarily in the late afternoon and evening. A better chance for storms later next week.

El Paso, Texas- After strong thunderstorms moved across Hudspeth county; a lot of the ground is heavily saturated and we’re expecting another round of thunderstorms this afternoon, which could lead to flooding across poor drainage areas. A lot of today’s precipitation chances will develop in the higher terrain and then move down to the lower

There are some areas that have received a good amount of rain this week. Any additional storms and the slow movement will likely cause possible flooding concerns through Friday. Storms that do form will have lots of fuel or moisture to tap producing heavy pocks of rain.

I do expect some thunderstorms to pop up again Thursday PM and again Friday before we get less rain opportunities for the weekend. Temps will continue to be in the mid 90s with lots of humidity.
